What sets me apart?

I am a psychiatric physician assistant and the owner of a private solo practice dedicated to providing thoughtful, comprehensive, and truly individualized mental health care. My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and deeply patient-centered. I believe that meaningful healing begins when patients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—and I take the time necessary to make that happen.

I work with individuals across the lifespan, from children to seniors, and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I strongly believe that high-quality psychiatric care cannot be rushed. Many patients come to me after feeling overlooked or inadequately treated elsewhere. I listen carefully, collaborate closely, and design treatment plans that are as unique as the individual sitting in front of me. Simply put—my patients get better.

My clinical approach is fully integrative, addressing both the mind and the body to achieve true remission, not just symptom management. In addition to psychiatric care, I evaluate and manage contributing medical factors such as hormonal imbalances, chronic and autoimmune illnesses, and other systemic internal medicine concerns. I routinely utilize laboratory testing, blood work, and genetic testing to bring objectivity and precision into the treatment-planning process.

Treatment under my care extends beyond medication alone. I incorporate therapy-informed principles and emphasize the importance of mindfulness, spirituality, authenticity, and human connection. When the right medications are combined with these tools—and when care is individualized rather than standardized—remission is not only possible, it is achievable.

I have completed the rigorous requirements to earn my Advanced Certification in Psychiatry (CAQ-Psych) and remain deeply passionate about mental health care. My greatest professional fulfillment comes from helping patients reclaim hope, stability, and a sense of wholeness in their lives.

I am licensed in the state of Utah and primarily provide in-person care, while offering telehealth services when appropriate and permitted.

Outside of my work, I enjoy caring for my two dogs and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I love hiking, mountain biking, climbing, gardening, and soaking up the sun—activities that help me stay grounded and connected to the same mind-body balance I encourage in my patients.
